GM Vice President of Design was 9 years old the first time he saw the Cadillac Cyclone concept vehicle at the Philadelphia Auto Show. That was half a century and a lifetime of inspiration ago.
Last Friday, Welburn returned to his hometown show and took the Cyclone with him.
During a press conference, Welburn introduced local media to the new Cadillac CTS-V Coupe and talked about the Chevrolet Cruze and the Chevrolet Volt electric car with extended range capability, both coming to the U.S. this fall . He also hosted groups from Philadelphia’s African American Museum and University of the Arts for personal tours of the Cadillac, Chevy, Buick and GMC exhibits at the show.
