Customized ZDX is music memorabilia on wheels
A customized, one-of-a-kind 2010 Acura ZDX four- door sports coupe will be up for auction starting today, with all proceeds benefiting Musi Cares ®- the official GRAMMY® Foundation charity. Participants can bid on the ZDX on eBay® (www.ebay.com/grammy) through February 8, 2010, with a minimum starting bid of $45,000. The ZDX is outfitted with Acura accessory 20-inch diameter wheels/tires and custom leather seats and floor mats embossed with the GRAMMY® logo. Additionally, signatures of the artists performing at tonight’s MusiCares® Person of the Year Gala will grace the interior— making the ZDX the ultimate collector’s item for any music fan.
Designed, developed and manufactured* in North America, the all-new ZDX is the first vehicle to be styled from start to finish in the new, dedicated Acura Design Studio in Torrance, California. The ZDX body features sensuous curves, deeply sculpted shoulders and strong character lines. The ZDX is powered by a new 3.7-liter VTEC® V-6 that generates 300 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque. Along with a host of other driver enhancing technologies, the ZDX features a class-leading Acura/ELS Surround® 435-watt, 10-speaker Premium Audio System, which was personally tuned by multiple GRAMMY® winning producer/engineer Elliott Scheiner.
